the economy

The Economy Lesson

In every city, town or village there
are shops selling bland, fatty
doughnuts no one really needs, they
are unhealthy and make you fat.
Yet they are good for the economy,
for if consumers wake up and realise
that they are eating muck and stop
buying that filthy stuff, there will be mass
lay offs, followed by revolution, social
equality and a pair of brown boots
once a year for each one of us, except
our leaders who get to wear black shoes.
To avoid this we have to buy a bag of
doughnuts every day and feed them to
the ducks in the park which in turn will
grow fat and plentiful, be culled and sold
at the local supermarket and thus we’ll all
have a choice, except the sick, old and
stupid.
