Well, I was writing an essay for a Language & Composition class (yeah, I know, I really know how to have fun, don't I?) and I couldn't help it... I just started writing poetry. So, here's a product of that... what would you call it? extreme boredom? an outlet of frustration? *grin* anyway, it's pretty rough since I haven't had time to clean it up, but I wanted to post it anyway: And there's a rapturous silence In the secret hollows of this future And it conjures the sweet bewilderment of beauty Wreathed in flitting clouds And the only thing I can compare it to is the star-crowned mountain That looms over my ravaged spirit And there's a wonder bigger than this That's bigger than anything I could ever be And all I can do is look So I look, I drink it in And I see it with awed, wide eyes With it's reflection clear in them And you can see it in me Expecting me to explain in mere words And you wonder why I can't I wonder too, since it's a part of me And I see it inside of me When I look at myself And I wonder How Big Can I Be? With no expectation or even longing for an answer. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It ends a bit abruptly, I know, but I had already gotten the idea I wanted across... help? :) THX-- ~*Maggie*~
