Night and Clouds

She was such an inspiration.
She was all a night could hide.
High in contrast and saturation,
she was all that I could possibly want.
Her voice slurred a sky of wonders.
Her precious hair was a warm blanket.
The sun was jealous, and it would slander,
because it wanted her like a bandit.
But she was mine,
mine and mine alone.
Though she was not by my side,
I could not let her go.
She is elsewhere amongst the nightly clouds.
Her eyes are bright like an angel's.
She is standing looking at me as she shrouds.
Her heart at peace in the heavens.
