The Poet's Forum

...where the heart lies down to die

The wind never blows
and the weather never changes
inside my little box
with blinders that can blind

At night it flashes blue
each shade a spinning gear
the color never dulled
from the window on the wall

the doors will only close
the moments smell of stagnance
inside my little box
I wait
