True Science

Does Night fall without you?
You are not here.
I can still see.
Therefore,
You are not the center of my universe.
How did you make me forget
years of adamant schooling?
Isn't it funny
how the unbending laws of physics and mathematics
can be bent by the power
of human denial?
The formulas of light
and color and vision
mean nothing to a deluded heart.
I do not see what I see.
I exist when I truly do not.
Why else do we not comprehend the end
until it is before us?
Reality
is but another skewed perception
in the already perverted schemas
of the mind.
